WIFI Opens Latest Round of Scholarships, Starnet Events, April Power Hour on LinkedIn, and Goals Workshop at Coverings
Dalton, Ga. – April 22, 2025 – Women In the Floorcovering Industry (WIFI) is excited to announce a series of free opportunities, including the latest round of the WIFI Scholarship Program. Scholarship applications are open through April 30. WIFI also invites women in flooring to participate in three empowering events: WIFI + Women of Starnet programming at the Starnet Spring Meeting on April 24 and 25, Rock Your LinkedIn Profile virtual Power Hour on April 29, and the Map Your Momentum: 2025 Goals Workshop at Coverings on April 30. Each of these offerings is designed to help women grow professionally, connect with industry peers, and pursue their career goals.
WIFI Scholarship Program – Spring 2025 Round Now Open

WIFI is accepting applications for the spring round of its ongoing Scholarship Program. This initiative provides financial support for women pursuing post-secondary education or continuing education within the flooring industry. Scholarships are awarded in two categories:
Post-Secondary Education Scholarships: For students enrolled in college, trade, or technical schools who are seeking a degree, certificate, or certification. Eligible applicants include women currently working in the floor covering industry or those with a demonstrated interest in entering it. Award amounts range from $1,000 to $5,000 and may be used for tuition, fees, books, and housing (if enrolled full-time).
Continuing Education Scholarships: For women with a minimum of three years in the flooring industry who are looking to advance their skills through classes or training programs. Awards range from $250 to $1,000 and cover the direct cost of the course.
