The WIFI community gathered virtually on June 4 for an inspiring Power Hour: “Being Present in the Moments of Joy.” The session featured Lori Eberenz, director of global PR & storytelling at Yum! Brands, the Fortune 500 parent company behind global restaurant leaders such as KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut. Blending corporate insight with personal experience, Lori shared how intentionally recognizing moments of joy can serve as a powerful tool for resilience—especially during high-stress periods, including her own journey through a breast cancer diagnosis.

WIFI at NeoCon: Coffee & Conversations Focused on Education and Empowerment
Women from across the flooring industry gathered in the Mannington showroom at NeoCon for the WIFI event Coffee & Conversations. The event, held in The Mart in Chicago, featured remarks from Whitney Legate, WIFI board member and senior vice president of commercial product at Mannington, who underscored WIFI’s commitment to offering educational programming designed to advance women’s professional development in the flooring sector. Legate also announced the 2025 WIFI scholarship recipients, highlighting the organization’s continued investment in supporting emerging talent.

Past WIFI scholarship recipient Charity Adeoti shared her personal journey—from receiving a WIFI scholarship to launching her own successful flooring installation company. Her story served as a compelling example of how strategic support and resources can catalyze lasting career growth.
